ADE ESS Blog Final Week, May 11

Posted on Updated on

Can’t believe this was the final week of the internship. It really was an incredible experience and I’m so grateful I was able to do it.

This week we finished up some smaller projects and then  I gathered the supplies to make my own switch adapted toy, including purchasing a used soldering iron from a hardware store ($3). The amazing thing was that the switch adapted toy actually worked! I didn’t have the pieces to finish it and make the jack to plug the switch into, but I’ll work on finishing that this summer.

We also went to Phoenix on Friday for some math app work and preparations, and it was fun to be part of that time officially, one last time. I still have a presentation with Ann and Mary at the AZTap conference this summer, and I’m sure we’ll have plenty of other work to do together in the future. It really was an amazing experience. No complaints whatsoever.
